ArCH Volunteers! Special Event Volunteers needed!
Looking for volunteers for ArCH (Archaeology, Culture and Heritage) field-day programs in partnership with 15 other organizations which features hands-on activities focused on Delaware arts, history, archaeology and cultural heritage. Takes place on the Green in Dover, DE. It’s an event for fourth grade classes/students to participate in a program-related field trip where they learn about the value of historic preservation in conjunction with activities exploring Delaware arts, culture and heritage.
Volunteers would help at stations, interacting with the children, helping engage them, helping get kids off the bus and direct them to their zone, setting up, clean up, etc.
The dates of these days are May 7th, May 9th, May 14th, May 16th and rain dates are May 21st and May 23rd. Set up begins at 7:45am and clean up at 2:30pm. (Can volunteer in morning or afternoon if needed).
If interested in volunteering at this event, they can contact Sara Clendaniel, the Volunteer Services Coordinator at the Division of Historical and Cultural Affairs at firstname.lastname@example.org or at 302.736.7411
