14th Annual Family Emergency Preparedness Day
Family Emergency Preparedness Day on Saturday, September 22 at the Agricultural Museum in Dover is hosted by the Kent County Department of Public Safety and Delaware Citizen Corps. It will feature many interactive demonstrations, information booths and free training sessions aimed at helping Delawareans prepare for an emergency. Small booths and table displays will be set up inside the museum and large vehicle displays and outside table displays will be set up around the museum grounds. Restroom facilities will be available inside the building.
Volunteers are needed for the following time slots:
1. Friday, September 21: 9:00 am - 2:00 pm. For set up of tables, etc.
2. Saturday, September 22:
-- 8:00 am -12:00: To help vendors bring in their display items, etc
-- 12:00 - 4:00 pm: To help vendors break down their displays, etc.
Volunteers are also needed to help with activities, etc.
